Dear Audience,
I sat on a rug that “really tied the room together” in an undisclosed location, surrounded by Circles We Draw—humbled. Was I just another geek following a band like a foolish child skipping along behind the Pied Piper?
No. I have a purpose. In July of this year of our Lord 2024 there will be a tour through the mid and southwest states of this great nation. Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California.
We are setting out to sow the sounds of Kinda Vague Records like a bunch of musically possessed Johnny Appleseeds. Then we shall return to reap in 2025.
I’ll spend two weeks in a van with Andrew Tallent, Rob Dixon, and Pat Swallow. But I’m not riding along as a mere fanboy…no Ma’am. No, sir!
I’ve been HIRED as Tour Manager.
For the first time in my life a group of talented individuals whom I truly admire have placed a vote of confidence in me and backed it with more than empty promises and come-ons.
Lord, grant me strength and stability. Let me not fail in the this second shot at leadership.
My dearest audience, prepare to go with me as we attempt to take Aqaba by land—metaphorically. By which I mean, I’ll be posting a the hell out of this journey. This is the T.E. Lawrence moment I’ve been waiting for.
